Chair update

I don't know if anyone is following my chair drama but here's the update. So, I finally called the guy that wanted my chair. He never got my email and figured he'd never hear from me so he bought another one. He still wanted mine more and I said I'd be willing to just trade chairs if it was something similar. He emailed a picture, it wasn't really what I wanted so I told him that and said he could still buy mine. He wanted to know if he could just buy my chair for the amount I bought it for and give me his chair anyway. I said that was fine so this is the chair I have now:

Not sure I can re-upholster this one, it looks significantly harder. He bought this one for $75 so I guess I can try and sell it. So there you have it. My chair drama. Who knew it would be so exciting??

My fantastic chair?

Well, the guy I bought it from emailed me.

Apparently it is worth a lot more than I paid and tons of people have been wanting it.

He forwarded me an email from a guy that has been searching for the "twin" to his

grandmother's chair for years and is willing to pay me double for what I bought it for.

I'm torn.

I love the chair so much and was so excited to find it.

But the guy said how much it would mean to him, sentimentally.

Plus I already bought the fabric.

What should I do?

I'm sure it's not the last chair like that in the world.

And I really don't have time to re-do it anytime soon.

And I could use the money... you know, to survive.

I Heart Fabric

My name is Kelli and I'm addicted to fabric. I don't know why I love fabric so much but I do. I buy fabric sometimes with no intention of making anything... but I just fall in love with it and HAVE to have it. So, in my last post I showed a picture of my beautiful chair. Well I found the perfect fabric for it. I may just drape it over the chair for awhile until I actually get around to re-upholstering, that way at least my lovely fabric will be seen. Oh, and it was on sale on fabric.com.

starting projects and never finishing.

I have a whole room dedicated to unfinished projects.

That's how good I am.

Kharisma broke my camera. I know, I shouldn't let her play with it but she's usually pretty good with it. Just takes random pictures. But I guess she got tired of that.
