Nakey!

Kharisma is going through a phase... a naked phase. Nothing makes her happier than being able to run around the house naked. Even her baby and teddy bear that have clothes have to be naked, but she carries their clothes around with her, I guess just in case.

So I had her completely dressed this morning, but she decided her shirt and pants had to go and if it wasn't for the onsie her diaper would be off. Thank goodness she hasn't figured out how to take it off yet. She actually shouts, "Nakey!" while taking her clothes off. When I took the camera out to take a picture of her she grabbed her bear's clothes to show me.
And then she told me her bear was also "nakey". She's such a goofy little girl, her personality is really coming out. We love her so much, she brings us so much joy. And as I write this she is determined to get that onsie off...

Treasure Hunting

I visited about every thrift store in Pullman and Moscow, searching for some shelves. Did I find any? No, but I did find these little treasures for only 50 cents each. Why do I keep finding more projects for myself? I don't know. I'm crazy. But it only took me about three days to complete this project from start to finish so that's better than usual.

Yeah... this pictures isn't very good but you get the idea.

Feelin' the pressure...

...from all my unfinished projects.

With the little one arriving possibly anytime now I'm feeling guilty about my large pile
of unfinished crafts. So I've tried to step it up a bit.
Here are some photos of my latest finished projects.

I was super excited to make these curtains.
I wanted something in the baby's room that was masculine but
nothing sports/cars/airplanes/trains etc.
Not that there is anything wrong with those items, just not my style.

The leather belts are probably my favorite part.
And yes, I screwed them on. Awesome? I think so.

So this one isn't all the way finished, I still need to arrange them
and hook them together somehow and put them on the wall,
and because it's not really my favorite, I'm slow finishing.

And this poor apron...
My favorite one so far. It's for one of my friends
that was one of my Young Women leaders. I promised
her I'd make her one... almost a year ago.
(so keep that in mind if you ever want me to make you one)
Finally finished.

Hopefully there are more to come in the very near future.

Venting...

Have you ever heard someone say,
"Oh, you should get a dog, they are great
training for when you have kids."?

Well.
I have never encouraged my child to play in traffic.
My dog on the other hand...

Cabin Fever...

Well, I took a few weeks "off" from my usual routine
and now that I feel like getting back to it,
I can't.
Too cold...
Sick child...
Too much snow...
I've never used that phrase before "Too much snow" but since
I can't do anything to enjoy the snow, I'll just say it:
We have too much snow.
I get to read on Facebook about how great
the skiing/boarding is back home in Utah...
*sigh*

On a livelier note...
My brother, cousin, and various friends made this the other day.
A foot of snow on the yard.
Get it?
It's a foot... made of snow...
I thought it was pretty clever.

Bath-Time Visitor

I decided to take some cute naked bathtub pictures tonight of Kharisma.
1-Because she's so darn cute
2-Being naked just doubles the cuteness
and
3-I learned how to manually change the
settings on my camera so that shots
like this don't come out looking blah and yellow.

This first one I told her to "look cute".
I think this look is her saying, "Are you serious, mother? I'm always cute."

Then I told her to swim...

...and then, a visitor!

At first, Lily wasn't cooperating.
It was basically a miracle I was able to capture this with my camera, I have the slow,
wait-three-seconds-before-it-actually-takes-and-then-the-moment's-gone type of camera.

Umm... thanks?

So... sorry about the gross feet pictures.
This is what happened when I asked Ben to paint my toenails the other night.

Pretty sure he was making certain I wouldn't ask him again.
