Venting...

Have you ever heard someone say,
"Oh, you should get a dog, they are great
training for when you have kids."?

Well.
I have never encouraged my child to play in traffic.
My dog on the other hand...

Cabin Fever...

Well, I took a few weeks "off" from my usual routine
and now that I feel like getting back to it,
I can't.
Too cold...
Sick child...
Too much snow...
I've never used that phrase before "Too much snow" but since
I can't do anything to enjoy the snow, I'll just say it:
We have too much snow.
I get to read on Facebook about how great
the skiing/boarding is back home in Utah...
*sigh*

On a livelier note...
My brother, cousin, and various friends made this the other day.
A foot of snow on the yard.
Get it?
It's a foot... made of snow...
I thought it was pretty clever.

Bath-Time Visitor

I decided to take some cute naked bathtub pictures tonight of Kharisma.
1-Because she's so darn cute
2-Being naked just doubles the cuteness
and
3-I learned how to manually change the
settings on my camera so that shots
like this don't come out looking blah and yellow.

This first one I told her to "look cute".
I think this look is her saying, "Are you serious, mother? I'm always cute."

Then I told her to swim...

...and then, a visitor!

At first, Lily wasn't cooperating.
It was basically a miracle I was able to capture this with my camera, I have the slow,
wait-three-seconds-before-it-actually-takes-and-then-the-moment's-gone type of camera.

Umm... thanks?

So... sorry about the gross feet pictures.
This is what happened when I asked Ben to paint my toenails the other night.

Pretty sure he was making certain I wouldn't ask him again.

One of Those Days

This was dinner tonight.
Yep... it's been one of those days.

OCD Tendencies

Once in awhile Kharisma has some OCD tendencies. Notice the crusts of her sandwich piled up neatly to the side. I cut her sandwiches into four little triangles and she always stacks the crust before asking for another piece.

Baby "Wom"

I've been trying to explain to Kharisma about the baby in mommy's belly and I think she's catching on. The other night while I was rocking her to sleep I asked her where mommy's baby was. She immediately sat up and pulled my shirt up and put her little hands on my stomach. She patted it saying, "Baby!" I tell her that when he grows big he'll come out and she'll get to hold him and hug him and kiss him. So she then hugs my belly and kisses it. We tell her that she's going to be a big sister and she'll have baby brother Willum. She tries to say Willum but it comes out more of a "Wom" I'm so excited for her to finally meet little baby Wom.
